My Pilates journey began in California and continued with me to Virginia, giving me a cumulative three years of experience practicing and deepening my connection to the method. Pilates has been more than just movement for me—it has been a way to understand my body, build strength with intention, and find confidence in what my body can do.

I decided to become a Pilates instructor because I live with scoliosis. Not every Pilates exercise looks the same for me, and modifications have been an essential part of my practice. Through this experience, I’ve come to truly believe that every body is a Pilates body. Pilates is not about perfection or fitting a mold—it’s about meeting your body where it is and supporting it with mindful movement.

In 2025, I began Pilates Instructor Training through Club Pilates, with certification testing planned for 2026. My goal as an instructor is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel seen, safe, and empowered. I’m passionate about helping others discover the joy, strength, and resilience that Pilates can offer—no matter their experience level, body type, or physical considerations.
